Verify a research peptide batch
Every released batch from Index Peptides is documented and checkable by its lot number. Enter the batch / lot number from your vial or certificate of analysis to see its documentation status, HPLC purity and identity status as reported.
Each vial is labelled with a lot number that links to its certificate of analysis, so you can confirm exactly what was tested for the material you hold — research use only.

Where to find the lot number
The lot number is printed on the vial label of every product we supply, and it also appears on the certificate of analysis for that batch and on the order confirmation. It is a short alphanumeric code — enter it exactly as printed. The lookup ignores letter case and spaces, so hyphens and characters matter more than capitalisation.
What the lookup returns
For a released lot, the record shows the product name and vial size, the RP-HPLC purity result, the identity result where reported, the testing laboratory, the test date, and the storage conditions recorded for that batch. Where a certificate of analysis has been published for the lot, a downloadable copy of the COA is linked directly from the record, so the document behind the result can be reviewed in full.

If a lot number does not resolve
First check the number against the vial label for transcription errors — lot numbers are matched exactly. New batches are published as their certificates clear documentation review, so a very recent lot may not be live in the lookup yet. If a lot still does not resolve, email orders@indexpeptides.uk with the lot number and we will confirm its status and supply the certificate of analysis directly.

A certificate of analysis (COA) is the laboratory report for a specific batch. It records the analytical results — typically RP-HPLC purity and LC-MS identity — for the exact lot you receive, alongside the batch or lot number printed on the vial.
How do I verify a research peptide batch?

Why does batch verification matter?
In an unregulated market, per-batch HPLC and LC-MS documentation is the clearest evidence of what a vial actually contains. Verifying by lot number lets a researcher confirm identity and purity for their specific material rather than relying on a generic claim.
